The Machine Widget data is gathered by the testRTC Companion Chrome Extension to help you monitor and optimize your device's performance.
Customization
During onboarding, you can decide when to show this widget:
- Only to your IT people, when the results page is opened from the testRTC admin dashboard
- Only show to users who had the testRTC Companion installed when running the test
- Show for anyone on any test result
- Don’t show the widget, but still collect the measurements and place them in the log
When to use?
Use the Machine Widget, powered by the testRTC Companion, to help users and support/IT troubleshoot potential performance, quality, and connectivity issues of their calls faster by collecting CPU and memory-relate bottlenecks during network tests and performance analysis of WebRTC voice and video calls.
