This powerful tool is designed to help you understand trends in user issues and enables you to focus your efforts on addressing the issues that are having the most impact on your services and/or customers.
Note: Insight Charts are not available in all accounts.
They require the ‘Essentials’ or higher product packs.
Top 5 Insights
Insights Charts are generated automatically each time the Trends page loads. The
insights chart displays the top five issues affecting your services within the
selected date range.
Tip: You can show or
hide data for any issue by clicking the color tiles in the legend area at bottom
left corner of the chart.
Best Practice for using Insight Charts in Trends

View Highlights: Navigate to
watchRTC > Highlights
and review your 'Active Rooms' and 'Max Concurrency.' This will give you a general idea of your overall usage.Tip: Take note of the date range that is set for your highlights. -
View Trends: Open
watchRTC > Trends
in a new tab and set the date range to match the one used for your Highlights. - View Insights in Trends: Examine the top 5 issues presented in the chart to identify patterns causing the issues. Look for times or recurring events.
- Custom Insights Chart: Create a custom insights chart to compare other issues that may relate to the performance drop. This can help you spot any correlations.
Create Custom Insight Charts in Trends
Apart from the Top 5 Insights generated automatically, you can customize your own
charts using the Insights (Custom Issues) tile located to the right of the
Insights (Top 5) chart.

Navigation: Navigate to
watchRTC > Trends
- Create Chart: In the Insights (Custom Issues) tile, use the ‘Issues’ drop-down menu to select up to three issues to display in your chart.
- Toggle View: Show or hide data for any issue by clicking the color tiles in the bottom left corner of the chart.
