What is this about?

For calls longer than 3 minutes, we check to see if there was a noticeable quality degradation in the last minute of the call. This may indicate that the user left the call due to that quality change.

The way this is calculated is by using the testRTC Quality Score - if it degrades by 2 points or more in the last minute, this warning is invoked.

Potential risks

A degradation at the end of a call may mean that the user decided to leave due to media quality issues.

Suggested actions to take

  • Check if you can figure out why the degradation occurred.
  • For watchRTC, check the Trends dashboard to assess how common these types of problems are.
